Our Design Process

Amazing Maths Equations

 

Kia Ora bloggers, Aliah posting. Yesterday night I started working on a presentation and it was all about maths. The 2nd slide is about what maths is, the 3rd slide is about why I like maths and the rest of them have equations, symbols and answers on them. The last slide is my favourite because the background is really cool. Please take a look through this and comment below. I spent about 45 minutes on it last night and about 15 minutes on it today so altogether it took me about 1 hour.

Miraculous Maths.

 

Hola bloggers, Aliah back again. In Atkinson Maths we have been doing transformations. In my opinion it is really fun but I don't really think that my friends enjoy it that much. But I definitely do. I am still working on it so it is a work in progress.

My Animation !

 

Kia Ora bloggers, Aliah here. About 40 minutes ago I started to make an animation about what I have learnt. I have only made 6 slides because I was making everything perfect and I needed to find a cartoon table. Then, I couldn't find one, so I decided to make my own. After that, I got my characters and put them behind a table and sitting on a chair. It is still a work in progress.

My Story Writing

 

Kia Ora bloggers, Aliah here. This morning I started to write a story about Me and My Dog. I have been working on it this morning but it is still a work in progress. It will become very long by the end of the school holidays but I think that I might carry on for a lot longer so that my story becomes extra long. I want to hook the reader into my stories and leave them thinking about what will happen next.

Under the sea Māori Animation

 

Kia Ora bloggers, Aliah here. This week we have been carrying on with saying stuff in Māori, like:

Kia Ora, Ata Mārie, Ahi Ahi Mārie & lots more. I have only started it today, so it is a work in progress. Te Reo animation

Kia Ora bloggers, Aliah here. We have been learning about Māori Myths & Legends. Me and my friend Emily W have been working on an animation about the mountain. It is nowhere near done because I only started it today.

Learning In Literacy

Rembrandt Fact Book

Kia ora bloggers, Aliah here. This week my literacy group has been working on Rembrandt. We all had to make a fact book about him. What paintings he makes, is earlier life and more. In my opinion it was really fun. I liked making a fact book about Rembrandt. I got to add some of his most famous paintings. I also wanted to add some of my favourites.

My Māori Commands

 

Kia ora bloggers, Aliah here. In Te Reo we have been doing Māori commands on a google slide. In my opinion it's really fun. I am not yet done with the slide of Māori commands just yet.

Crazy Cross Country

 

Kia ora bloggers, Aliah here. My hub and I did Cross Country on May 20th. We had to do 2 entire laps all around the school. We even had to go outside of the school grounds. All together it was a 2km run. I ran some of it but walked most of it with my friend.

I didn't really enjoy it because I don't like Cross Country. We had to practise for 2 weeks and it was pretty tiring in my opinion. We all had a number on our hand and my number was 3. Did you know... my lucky number is 3. Have you ever done Cross Country?

Measurement In Maths!

This term I have been learning about Measurement. This slide is not yet finished. It is quite fun for me. I have also made a little animation about measurement. You should try and make a Measurement Animation. It is really fun.

Cool Cross Country.

Kia ora bloggers, Aliah here. Me and my friend Evie have been working on a presentation about Cross Country. I don't really like cross country because I always get a cramp in my leg. We have to do two laps of a big course around our school. 

I always get the stitch and only have time to get one lap done. Cross Country is really tiring for me and it is not very fun when you get tired. I can't wait until cross country is over. Today I did a cybersmart lesson on how to send a quality Email. It was really fun because I got to use Google Draw and I love Google Draw. 

I wrote the Email to my homebase teacher. I quite enjoyed it.

Wolves Before And After

I have been working on a site called Canvas to create this amazing picture. I copied the book onto a blank canvas and then I just decorated it with colours. Amazing right. My friend Emily C helped me to create the colour of the beautiful hair. My friend Emily C thought that it was really funny!

I used Google Canvas to create this wonderful picture of a wolf face.

Book Club / wolves

In Atkinson Literacy I have been working on my Book Club slide. It is not quite finished yet. We do book club every Monday and I am reading a book about wolves. It is called Wolves Of The Beyond. It makes me want a husky. I have read a couple of pages of the book and it is really interesting and good so far.
